MODENA SETA expresses its firmest condemnation for the serious episode that took place yesterday evening at the Modena railway station on a vehicle on the urban line 1, which resulted in verbal and physical aggression against an employee on duty. The company expresses the most complete solidarity with the driver, who was subsequently treated in the emergency room where the doctors diagnosed a five-day prognosis.
The episode – which, fortunately without consequences, was also witnessed by some passengers on board – led to the prolonged stop of the vehicle, following the request for intervention made by the SETA operations center to the Local Police, which promptly intervened to report the order on board the bus and identify the protagonists of the fact, and to which the company thanks for the timely intervention carried out.
SETA ensures full support to its employee and guarantees – as always happens in these cases – complete legal support for any protective action that he may want to undertake. The company also reserves the right, if the details are identified, to file a complaint for interruption of public service against those responsible, for the protection of users and its staff.
The dynamics of the facts can be ascertained both by resorting to the testimonies of the other bus drivers who were present at the scene at the time, and by accessing the images of the video surveillance system installed on the vehicle in question, which will be made available to the police.
