Cotignola (Ravenna), 20 April 2023. The dense column of black smoke caused by the fire that this morning , along the north lane of the A14 Dir motorway in the Cotignolese municipal area, reduced to a a carcass the engine of an articulated lorry . The driver was unharmed .

The cause of the fire is under investigation . It happened shortly after 10.30 in Budrio di Cotignola , a few meters from the via Gaggio overpass . The firefighters of the Lugo detachment and the Ravenna traffic police intervened on the spot .

At first the 118 was alerted , whose intervention was cancelled , given that the lorry driver had luckily not suffered any consequences .
