The Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo has admonished Ghanaians to have
faith in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government despite the current challenges facing the country.
Ghana since 2022 has been battling an economic crisis that forced President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to direct Finance
Minister Ken Ofori-Atta to seek help from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in July.
Although talks have progressed, the country is yet to receive board approval for the $3 billion credit facility it is seeking from the
Fund.
Acknowledging that times are tough, Sara Adwoa Safo still believes that the ruling New Patriotic Party government remains the
best bet to bring the country out of the current difficulties.
In a post on her Facebook page, she assured Ghanaians that government will not fail the Ghanaian people in delivering prosperity
and development for the good of the people.
“The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is all we have and it remains the sole platform and vehicle through which the Prosperity and
Development of our dear Country Ghana will be realised.
