The long weekend of the great international Beach Volleyball will start tomorrow, on the beach of San Cataldo , which returns to Salento after the 2022 edition.

From 8 to 11 June athletes from all over the world will compete for the stage of the “Futures Beach Pro” in Lecce, organized by the Municipality, in collaboration with the CT Fipav Lecce, with the precious support of the Puglia Region and Puglia Promozione and the many partners who have decided to support the Salento stage.

16 teams 4 pools per genre, which will compete in the Beach Arena for a total of 56 matches. The entry lists for the Salento stage, which will be played on the sand from tomorrow to Sunday, see 62 couples starting, for a total of 124 registered athletes.

The formula provides for 16 couples in the main draw, of which 12 are already part of it by ranking, another four will come from the qualifications. The competitions will be broadcast live on the Beach Volleyball World youtube channel .

It will be a very popular stage with 34 male and 28 female couples, with an important Italian representation.

The Beach Pro Tour , from 2022, includes a circuit divided into three different levels: Elite 16, Challenge and Futures in which the best athletes in the world will participate based on their position in the world ranking. The final act of the international circuit will be the Finals scheduled at the end of the season.
