We are trying to clarify the death of little Stephan, the 8-year-old boy who died on the afternoon of Thursday 17 August. In the last few hours, the Tivoli prosecutor’s office has in fact ordered the seizure of the structure where the death occurred. According to the reconstructions, Stephan would have been stuck in the drain during the cleaning operations of one of the thermal baths.

Who is the victim The victim’s name was Stephan and he was in the area – between Palombara Sabina and Passo Corese – together with his parents, originally from Russia. There is still no official news on the actual dynamics of the accident and the investigations by the Carabinieri are still continuing to shed light on what happened. In fact, it is to be understood why the child was in the water during the cleaning and emptying operations and then ended up being sucked into the drains. His little sister, who was present with him at the time of the incident, estimated at 18.30 on 17 August, would then have raised the alarm.
