by Lorenzo Crespi A 22-year-old and a 26-year-old were arrested in Brianza, in Cesano Maderno and Seveso, while another 22-year-old was arrested in Milan. Now the three irregular North Africans on the national territory are in prison (the first two in Monza and the other in San Vittore), held responsible for drug dealing.

The provision originates from the investigations conducted by the Carabinieri of the Luino Company and coordinated by the Varese Public Prosecutor’s Office, in response to the worrying phenomenon of drug dealing in wooded areas which has affected the Varese area for years. The three suspects are believed to belong to a dangerous criminal association particularly active in drug dealing in the woods of the municipalities of Cunardo, Bedero Valcuvia, Cugliate Fabiasco, Valganna, Cadegliano Viconago and Montegrino Valtravaglia

In the period between 11 November and 5 December 2021 alone, hundreds of roadside heroin and cocaine sales were found in the woods of Valcuvia, Valganna and Valmarchirolo.
