BIBIONE – Stabbed on the beach in Bibione after an argument: a 20-year-old from Portogruaro is seriously ill in hospital. And in the same hours a Friulian girl was rescued in Pineda, claiming to have suffered an unconsensual sexual relationship. The wounded young man was operated on during the night for three blows to the back and then kept for observation.

The carabinieri are hunting a group of young people of Balkan origin and some of their Italian friends, among whom there is also the stabber. Investigations are underway which will help to understand what happened last night on the Bibione coast.

The first alarm came around 4.20 from a group of young people from Portogruaro who had arrived in the tourist resort of San Michele al Tagliamento to spend an evening of celebration.

The victim was also with them, a 20-year-old from Portogruaro, the son of a well-known merchant in the city. The group had spent the evening among the nightlife venues. Everything had gone smoothly with lots of fun. When the premises were closed, everyone went out and more than a few poured onto the cycle path overlooking the sea.

The boys from Portogruaro had arrived at the Lido del Sole when they met a group of peers they had met at the disco and with whom there had been disagreements. Big words flew and then the quarrel, during which a knife came out. To have the worst was the young Portuguese who received three blows to the back. At that point the small group of boys of foreign origin ran away.

In pain but conscious, the injured 20-year-old collapsed on the sand, surrounded by friends who alerted 118. From the Suem operations center, they sent an ambulance with the doctor from the first aid point near the Tico Tico kiosk in Lido del Sole of Bibione.

The doctors transferred the young patient to the Portogruaro hospital in red code. Here he underwent delicate surgery during the night for his injuries. His conditions are serious but fortunately his life is out of danger.

But the night of violence didn’t end there. Later the carabinieri intervened again in Pineda for a girl in trouble. Some passers-by have in fact noticed that the young woman was not herself. The girl, an adult and who lives in the province of Udine, said in fact that she had been drinking.

She then reported to the carabinieri that she had had sexual intercourse with a boy she does not know. She then told the military what happened but that the relationship would have been consummated without her will.

In short, the girl may have suffered sexual violence from that young man she met in the disco. However, she did not present the complaint to the military of the Arma. It is not excluded that she can do it in the next few hours.

In recent days in Bibione the local police reported two young men not yet of age who injured two people after quarrels for futile reasons. A 17-year-old from Fontanelle was reported for possession of drugs and a knife that he had thrown after injuring a man from Udine.

The cameras then revealed the truth. A friend of his was reported after throwing a bottle at the head of a merchant from Bibione. Cases of violence that had practically never occurred in Bibione and which are often the result of the high of young people caused by the assumption of a mix of alcohol and drugs.
