Lower Garda. The fire brigade’s operations continued this morning in Valeggio sul Mincio, in via Fenil Sagramoso, where late on Sunday morning a fire broke out in an agricultural shed, in which there were numerous round bales and some cows from an agricultural company in the area.

The alarm was raised around 11.40 am and seven fire engines intervened to put out the fire. The very high flames were put out in the afternoon, but unfortunately it was not possible to avoid the death of some animals due to the noxious fumes.

The causes are still to be ascertained, while the clearance and safety operations continue. The fire did not affect other parts of the company, but the warehouse suffered extensive damage, to the point that the firefighters may be forced to demolish the most dangerous part.
