The two minors were released in a state of freedom and left the police headquarters after being handed over to their parents.
At 05.00 last night, the agents of the flying section of the Lecce Police Headquarters arrested 25-year-old D.TJ from Lecce in flagrante delicto , because he was allegedly responsible for the crime of aggravated robbery, in collaboration with two minors, as well as for contempt, resistance and threats to a public official
The facts
The hands of the clock pointed to 1.30, when a patrol on territory control duty was sent to the Lecce ring road, near the Esso service station between exit no. 7 and exit no. 6 towards Brindisi, for a report received at 113 of a truck driver parked at the petrol station, attacked by some people.
In a few minutes the police car reached the place where there was a truck parked. The police immediately noticed DTJ, already known to the police force , who, in the company of two minors, tried to blend in with a group of three other young people intent on refueling their car.
The person who requested the intervention was the driver of the lorry who, showing the damage to the vehicle, indicated that the three young people were responsible, who shortly before, while resting inside the cabin, had been woken up by noises coming from outside and after having turned on the internal lights and opened the curtains, in order to make his presence known with the hope that they would disappear, the three continued to throw stones at the windows and attempted to force the doors, threatening him and ordering him to hand over the money .
The boys were then accompanied to the police station for the ritual formalities. Once the complaint was collected and the facts reconstructed, the adult was arrested for aggravated robbery in competition, furthermore, since during the check and during the transfer to the police station, he used resistance and uttered threatening and insulting words towards the operators, also for contempt, resistance and threats to a public official.
