Serious accident today at 1.10pm in Lugo on Via Piratello. A Skoda and a large-displacement scooter were involved and a man and a ten-year-old girl are hospitalized in Cesena. According to initial reconstructions, the car driven by a 55-year-old made a u-turn, hitting a scooter that was being overtaken. After the impact, the motorbike ended up in the ditch. The scooter was driven by a man and was also carrying a 10-year-old girl. The little girl was taken in critical condition by helicopter to the Bufalini hospital in Cesena, while the man driving the scooter reached the Cesena hospital by ambulance. Via Piratello is closed in the stretch between the roundabouts of via Mentana and via Di Giù.
