The bad weather persists in Italy, in particular in the South and in the Adriatic regions, with the Civil Protection having issued a weather alert for seven regions today 24 September 2023. In fact, from the early hours of the morning, rainfall is expected, even of downpour or thunderstorm.
These are the forecasts for today, according to the Italian Meteo Center:
In the North, scattered clouds in the morning and clearing in all sectors, but without associated significant phenomena: local rain expected in Romagna. In the afternoon there are no significant changes. In fact, clear or slightly cloudy skies are expected everywhere. In the evening there will be still dry weather conditions with large spaces of clear weather. Minimum temperatures decreasing and maximum temperatures stable, or slightly increasing. Weak winds from the north-eastern quadrants. The seas will be slightly rough or rough.
In the Center the cloud cover is irregular with scattered rain on the Adriatic sectors, large clearings along the Tyrrhenian coasts. In the afternoon there are still scattered rains especially in Abruzzo, clear or slightly cloudy elsewhere. Dry weather in the evening, but with irregular cloud cover in the Adriatic areas. Minimum and maximum temperatures are decreasing. Moderate or strong winds from the northern quadrants, with rough or very rough seas.
In the South and on the Islands, scattered clouds and clearing in all areas in the morning but with dry weather, local rain expected in Molise. Increasing instability in the afternoon: scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected especially on the Peninsular sectors, drier on the larger islands. In the evening, phenomena still possible on the Adriatic sectors, clearing elsewhere. Minimum and maximum temperatures are decreasing. Moderate or strong winds from the northern quadrants. Rough or very rough seas
