ANCONA – Hell was taking place inside their uncle’s house, where they had also lived for a period. With an excuse the man would have invited them to the room and there he would have abused them, four little sisters, all minors at the time of the events. It was a cry at school, by one of the four, still a teenager, that led to the discovery of a horrible story. The man, a 46-year-old bricklayer from Campania, was today sentenced to 10 years in prison for aggravated sexual assault, private violence and attempted sexual assault. On one of the sisters, who at the time of the events were between 13 and 17 years old, her aim would not have been achieved because the younger one had managed to free herself before her. The Prosecutor’s Office had asked for a 13-year sentence for him. The sentence was read late in the morning by judge Francesca Grassi who presided over the criminal panel. The story dates back to a period from 2012 to 2015, in a municipality in the Ancona hinterland. Only in 2017, however, was a complaint made by the girls’ mother to the police. At school one of her daughters burst into tears and confided to a teacher that there was an adult who had bothered her. Having informed her family, the student, who was 15 years old, then told everything to her mother, revealing the sexual violence committed on her by her uncle by marriage (he was the partner of the sister of the little sisters’ mother) when she was only 13 years old.

The abuse allegedly occurred in 2015, in the man’s house, where she and her sisters often went and even stayed to sleep. The accused would have made an excuse on the upper floor of the house and then dragged her to the bed in her room where, by closing her mouth with one of her hands, he would have abused her. Then he also threatened her: “If you tell anything I will have your family killed.” For this reason, the accused is also accused of private violence. After the first sister’s confession, the others also spoke, painting a terrible scenario. There are five incidents accused of the man, in one case one of the sisters managed to escape. In the others the man would not have gone as far as full intercourse but would only have stretched out his hands on the sisters to grope them. Three of them joined the civil action with the lawyer Monica Bisio and obtained compensation for damages of 70 thousand euros. The accused, who has always remained under investigation at large, has always denied the accusations. Defended by the lawyer Rosanna Rossini he will appeal. The defense believes that there would be no objective evidence regarding the violence other than the words of the victims.
