Giorgia Meloni has announced that she has left Andrea Giambruno. The Prime Minister, after the fuss raised by her companion’s outbursts, broke the silence by explaining that her reaction had reached the end of the line.

For a few days there has been a lot of talk about Andrea Giambruno due to some of his outbursts made public by Striscia la Notizia. The journalist and presenter is filmed before the live broadcast of his program Diario del Giorno while he utters a series of swear words and makes provolone with some colleagues. The controversy, obviously, exploded in a flash and his partner Giorgia Meloni announced that she had left him.

In the caption of a photo that portrays her with Andrea and little Ginevra, the baby they had in 2016, Giorgia wrote:

“My relationship with Andrea Giambruno, which lasted almost ten years, ends here. I thank him for the splendid years we spent together, for the difficulties we went through, and for giving me the most important thing in my life, which is our daughter Ginevra. Our paths have diverged for some time, and the time has come to acknowledge it. I will defend what we were, I will defend our friendship, and I will defend, at all costs, a seven-year-old girl who loves her mother and her father, as I was unable to love mine. Giorgia’s dig: politics always has something to do with it
In addition to announcing that she had left Giambruno, Giorgia made a dig at her rivals. Apparently, politics always comes into play, even when it comes to matters of the heart. He has written:

“Ps. all those who hoped to weaken me by hitting me at home should know that however much the drop may hope to dig out the stone, the stone remains stone and the drop is only water.”
