Lucia continued to feel very ill and her parents thought of entrusting themselves to hospital care, but on the afternoon of Sunday 22 October the doctors sent her home with a simple anti-inflammatory medicine. However, the little girl continued to experience severe headaches and vomit, which is why the family returned to the hospital a few days later. Bridgerton: Ruby Barker against Netflix and the production
During The LOAF Podcast, Rudy Barker talked about her adventure in Shonda Rhimes’ Bridgerton TV series, where she played Marina Thompson for two seasons. The actress lashed out at Netflix and the production because, according to her, they didn’t protect her enough during filming. She stated:

The accusations of Ruby Barker from Bridgerton
The actress admitted that she had two psychotic breaks during filming. The problems started in the first week and continued until he was admitted to hospital. Even on this occasion, however, “no one from Netflix or Shondaland showed up to see if I was okay.” She continued:

“It’s as if someone wanted to hide the fact that I was sick. During filming, I was getting worse. It was a really tormented place for me because my character was very marginalized, very isolated, alone in terrible circumstances. And no one contacted me, not even an email to ask me if I was okay or if I could benefit from treatment or support.”

Bridgerton: Ruby Barker disappointed by Netflix and the production
The beautiful Marina from Bridgerton concluded:

“My life was changing dramatically overnight and yet there was still no support, and there was no support throughout that time. So I was trying really hard to pretend that everything was fine, that I could work and that it wasn’t a problem. (…) For everyone it can appear to be a cheerful and fun moment, in my case it was like having a gun invisible to others constantly pointed at my head because I lived with the fear of saying anything, I was afraid of never working again”.
