FILOTTRANO – The trial for Doriano Trillini, the 60-year-old who last March 30 stabbed his support administrator, a 34-year-old lawyer with an office in Ancona, is subject to a psychiatric report. The Prosecutor’s Office had requested immediate judgment for him and his lawyer, Arianna Catena, requested a summary judgment conditioned on the evaluation of a psychiatrist who can define whether his client was capable of understanding and wanting at the time of the crime and whether he can stand trial or not. The request this morning was accepted by the preliminary hearing judge Franceca De Palma who indicated the psychiatrist Luigi Berloni to carry out the assessment. The task will be awarded to the professional on November 20th. The woman whom the man wounded with multiple blows, also puncturing her lung, ended up in hospital but survived.

The 60-year-old is accused of attempted murder and is still in a protected health facility where he is guarded. The attack took place in his home in Cantalupo. It was the afternoon and the lawyer had come to him, worried that she respected the therapeutic plan that had been set for him in the hospital, for treatments that she had to follow for health reasons. The medical taxi was waiting for him outside his house. She invited the 34-year-old to come upstairs for a moment and the young lawyer, legally assisted in this matter by the Scaloni firm, allowed herself to be convinced, not even imagining that her client would hit her with a kitchen knife on the neck, back, chest and on the hands. She narrowly escaped death.
