Tomorrow I’ll come to school and make a mess”, the shocking audio by Agostino Annunziata
The audio message did not promise anything good: “Tomorrow I come to school and I make a mess.” It is one of the audios that Agostino Annunziata allegedly sent to his 32-year-old wife Annalisia D’Auria, a few hours before killing her in their home in front of the eyes of their 3-year-old daughter. The Carabinieri’s investigations are now focusing on these elements, to understand the causes that pushed the 36-year-old to commit the feminicide-suicide that shocked Rivoli and Orbassano.
The motive of jealousy emerges more and more, with the man suspecting the woman was having an affair with a work colleague, precisely in a school in Rivoli
Dinner with friends
Furthermore, according to what has been reconstructed, in the last moments of her life Annalisa was chatting with friends to organize a dinner. Something her husband would not have accepted. And so, without thinking twice, it seems that she called one of her work colleagues (a professor of about fifty years old)
from the Dalmasso agricultural institute in Pianezza: “Good, now I know who you are, I caught you, I’ll come get you tomorrow.”
A few days earlier, an open day was scheduled in the school where Annalisa worked. Neither she nor Agostino showed up, perhaps, probably, because of his will, who had convinced himself that she was having a relationship with another man.
The tragedy
At the height of jealousy, on Saturday the man then killed Annalisa with a few blows with a kitchen knife, hitting her in the throat. After which he took his 3-year-old daughter with him and went to work in Orbassano. With an excuse he entrusted the little girl to a colleague, and he took his own life by jumping from a silo.
Last night the torchlight procession
Yesterday evening, Monday 30 October, a torchlight vigil took place in Rivoli to remember Annalisa. «A collective stance against these massacres – explained the mayor Andrea Tragaioli -, to remember Annalisa with our affection and demonstrate our closeness to her family and her daughter. She must start above all from us men
indignation for every violent gesture committed against a woman. We must be the first to forcefully shout “no more violence against women and no more feminicides”, we must make our wives, companions, daughters and sisters feel that a different future is possible, that we can change this wrong culture. In less than a month, November 25th, will be World Alarm Day
combating violence against women. What happened in our beloved Rivoli shows us that we still have a lot of work to do so that these tragedies don’t happen again.”
