For love’s-sake (and life’sake) you accept and consent to embark on a spiritual journey, courting discomfort, dangerous and life-threatening conditions of anatomical, physiological, endocrinological and psychological extremes; a continuous Rollercoaster and pendulum of mind-bending events and situations … ALL OF WHICH YOU MUST EXPERIENCE ALONE; a burden that CANNOT be shared; a work-shift with no intermittent relief or replacement.

Your labor-of-love knows no end!

For the immediate 18 years after delivery, you continue to LOVE, Provide-for, Protect, Defend Nurture, Support, Guide, Counsel etc.etc, ….. always granting Forbearance, until we are “classified” as adults by “human law”, and even then, your work continues beyond our so-called adulthood ……

Oh, and when we go on to “procreate”, you take on another dimension of your “life-sentence”, passing-on the baton by supervising and overseeing to make sure we are doing things right; sometimes, even gladly relieving us of our burden, and at the same time extending your “never-ending-LOVE” to our seed.
