The game of parcels fascinates Italians, also thanks to that process of identification that is triggered when the competitor is faced with the Doctor’s offer: few, damned and immediately, or risk the big score? The latest episode of Affari Tuoi, the Rai1 game hosted by Amadeus, sparked strong emotions that many viewers poured onto social media. Marco from Palermo is playing, in a match that keeps fans glued until the end.
It gets to the point that there are “heavy” packages of 300,000 or 75,000 around. But the Doctor’s proposals are also consistent. Marco, however, refuses two rich offers: one for 49,000 euros and one for 59,000 euros. When the game comes to an end, luck abandons the competitor.

The heaviest package, the one worth 300,000 euros, is eliminated and Marco also rejects the last offer of 25,000 euros. In the end, he has 500 euros in his hands and with his hands the game ends. A bitter ending for the Sicilian, with his wife Danila trying to console him. The many rejected offers trigger criticism:

“Do you know who they are? These people are doing well financially. A ‘normal’ person doesn’t refuse those sums”, “Don’t do all the bullshit if you carry on because it’s obvious that you don’t need the money that much otherwise you’d accept it and just call it courage”, we read among the many comments poured on X for the great missed opportunity
