I’ve made the mistake of underestimating my daughter’s abilities countless times. I’ve assumed she’s incapable of achieving something, only to be proven wrong by her determination and resilience.

Some professionals have also misled me with limitations and labels, but my daughter has consistently defied expectations. She may not speak, but her actions speak louder than words. She shows us that she can do things we thought were impossible, leaving us in awe and humbling us in the process.

Yaa  may not fit the typical mold, but she has wings, not just feathers. She’s capable of soaring to great heights if only I let her fly. I’ve learned to trust her abilities, to support her, and to celebrate her triumphs. I’ve come to understand that her uniqueness is her strength, and that she’s way ahead of where I often place her.

These experiences have taught me to be a better parent, to be more patient, understanding, and supportive. I’ve learned to look beyond limitations and to see the potential that lies within her. My daughter has shown me that with belief, trust, and support, she can achieve anything she sets her mind to. And for that, I am forever grateful
