Ukrainian ‘kamikaze’ drones attacked a metallurgical plant and other facilities used for military purposes in the Russian regions of Belgorod, Voronezh and Lipetsk in the night. A Ukrainian military intelligence source told the Kyiv Independent and the news was confirmed by Russian regional governors, who claim that the attacks did not cause damage or casualties.

According to the source who spoke to the Ukrainian newspaper, one of the targets was the Novolipetsk metallurgical plant and a local tractor factory in the Lipetsk oblast. “Both companies are used by the attacker for military purposes,” the source added.

Russian attacks on Ukraine killed one person and injured 15 in the last day. This was reported by the regional authorities, specifying that Russia has targeted a total of nine Ukrainian oblasts: Chernihiv, Poltava, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kharkiv and Donetsk. The victims have been reported in the last three regions.

A Russian attack on the village of Nova Poltavka in Donetsk oblast injured seven people, Governor Vadym Filashkin said. The districts of Pokrovsk and Bakhmut were also attacked by Russia. Two people were injured in the city of Krasnohorivka and one in the city of Toretsk, according to Filashkin. In Kharkiv oblast, a Russian airstrike damaged four houses and an ambulance in the village of Pisky Radkivski, Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported. A 13-year-old boy, a man and a woman were injured, he added.

Russian forces also attacked a children’s camp in the city of Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs overnight, damaging a building, according to Syniehubov. No casualties were reported. Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast damaged seven homes, critical infrastructure, a car and a pipeline, said Governor Oleksandr Prokudin, who said two people were injured in the region yesterday. The Russian ‘kamikaze’ drone also attacked a car in the village of Osokorivka this morning, killing a 50-year-old man, the governor said.
