That’s a fundamental truth in Christianity. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and eternal life. As He Himself said:

• “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

This truth is reiterated throughout the New Testament:

• “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
• “For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as a ransom for all.” (1 Timothy 2:5-6)
• “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

This doesn’t mean that other religions or beliefs are not valuable or meaningful, but rather that Jesus Christ is the only way to have a personal relationship with God and receive eternal life.

As Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14)
