God’s plans for the church are:
1. _To build a radiant bride_: Presenting the church to Himself as a radiant, spotless, and holy bride (Ephesians 5:25-27)
2. _To demonstrate His glory_: Showcasing His majesty, power, and love through the church (Ephesians 3:10, 21)
3. _To make disciples_: Equipping believers to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20)
4. _To unite believers_: Bringing together all believers in Christ, transcending denominational and cultural divides (John 17:20-23)
5. _To empower for ministry_: Equipping every believer for ministry, using their spiritual gifts to serve others (Ephesians 4:11-13)
6. _To be a beacon of hope_: Shining God’s light in a dark world, offering hope and salvation to all (Matthew 5:13-16)
7. _To grow in love and holiness_: Maturing in faith, love, and character, becoming more like Jesus (Ephesians 4:14-16)
8. _To fulfill the Great Commission_: Reaching all nations, tribes, and languages with the Gospel (Matthew 28:18-20)
9. _To bring joy and blessing_: Being a source of joy, blessing, and life to believers and the world (John 10:10, 16:24)
10. _To prepare for Christ’s return_: Living in anticipation of Jesus’ second coming, being ready to meet Him (Matthew 24:44, 25:13)
These plans are outlined in the Bible and are the essence of God’s purpose for the church. As the church follows God’s plans, it will become a powerful force for transformation in the world.
