STATEMENT ON FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR H.E. NANA KONADU AGYEMAN-RAWLINGS

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, Aboatia Abusua of Mpobi, Dwirafiesohene and the entire Dwirafieso Abusua of Antoa, Agyeman, Agyeman-Rawlings and Allied Families, wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the general public for the outpouring of sympathy since the loss of Her Excellency Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.

Oheneba Akwasi Abayie, Otumfuo Akomforehene is here present to inform you of the following arrangements for the funeral slated for Friday November 28, 2025.

• The funeral activities will start at 6am with the arrival of the cortege at the Independence Square, Accra.

• Attire for the funeral is Black and there will be no official cloth for the ceremony.

• The funeral is open to the general public and the public is invited to participate fully. Security and protocol officials will direct all mourners to their seats.

• The ceremony serves as the final funeral rites and there will be no other ceremony elsewhere once the Burial Service closes at the Independence Square.

We urge mourners to come in early and adhere strictly to the directives of the security and protocol team so we can have an orderly process at the burial ceremony.
