This year too, four deserving students from the Fermi Polo Montale technical and professional institute in Ventimiglia and Bordighera have obtained the scholarship to carry out, next May, three weeks of mobility, which consists of a stay and company internship in Europe, together with other girls and boys selected from technical and professional institutes throughout Italy.

For them, a company stay and internship in Europe. The project, financed by the European Union, was born with the name Find your way in Europe – and is specifically intended for students attending the fourth year of Professional and technical institutes, to offer them a highly stimulating professional and life experience and open their gaze to different horizons and cultures in Europe. For years, Erasmus programs were mainly intended for high schools; recently, there has been a strong desire and need to broaden the experience and opportunities to young people attending professional schools in Europe with scholarships for VET mobility (vocational education and training)

The Consortium of Professionals of Reggio Emilia, in the persons of Rosanna Rossi and Cecilia Catellani, leaders of the program which has obtained European quality certification from the Erasmus agency, have been awarding scholarships and sending around 70 young people to various European cities for around 10 years per year, but they also deal with incoming hospitality: with the collaboration of the schools associated with the Consortium in Italy, they organize the welcome of students from all over Europe, always within the framework of the Erasmus plus programme. This year for the first time the Fermi Polo Montale, between September and December 2024, will welcome 4 students attending a technical institute for architecture and engineering in Utrecht, Holland, for a real cultural exchange, in particular with the students of the Construction Environment Territory plexus.

The candidate beneficiaries of the 2024 scholarships: They are Assia Zaari of 4M of Marco Polo for Commercial Services-Accessible and Sustainable Tourism; Sara Forieri of 4E for Social and Health Services. Martina Ghu of 4 G by Enrico Fermi: Construction Environment Territory address. Finally Martina Caputo of 4A International Relations and Marketing for the Eugenio Montale complex. Sara, Assia and Martina will carry out their mobility in Seville, the magnificent capital of the Andalusian region, in Spain; from 27 April to 18 May they will live in a university residence and carry out an internship in an ad hoc company, according to their different fields of study. Martina Caputo will leave for Dublin, Ireland, from April 20th to May 11th, she will live with her family and carry out her internship in a company related to international relations and marketing. She also had to demonstrate a B2 level of English to be assigned to this fascinating destination.
