He was documented in Guinness Book of World Records in 1980 to be the world youngest monarch. He was crowned at the age of 22, months (2 years) in 1979 after the unexpected death of his father same year.

After his coronation he was relocated to overseas for security reasons and to study. Upon his relocation to abroad, a Regent was appointed to rule in his place until he came back in 2001 to take over as the paramount ruler of Agbor people at an advance age.
